Welcome to Earlimart School District, a TK-8 school district, located in Southern Tulare County, forty miles north of Bakersfield and seventy miles south of Fresno. Earlimart School District is home to three schools, with dedicated educators serving approximately 1,400 students.

Our mission is to promote a standard of excellence in everything we do, through a lens of equity, in a culture of empathy, and with an uncompromising student-centered approach. Through strong community partnerships and a focus on a safe learning environment, we strive to provide all students with a high-quality and comprehensive educational experience, in a supportive and equitable environment.

The Flu: A Guide For Parents

What is the flu?
Influenza (the flu) is an infection of the nose, throat, and lungs caused by influenza viruses. There are many different influenza viruses that are constantly changing. They cause illness, hospital stays and deaths in the United States each year.
The flu can be very dangerous for children. Each year about 20,000 children younger than 5 years old are hospitalized from flu complications, like pneumonia.
